So I decided that it'd be a good idea to update this blog at the end of every month. That way I don't forget. Well we are now at the end of August and I can't believe time has flown by so fast. We've almost been here in Italy for 6 months now. It's crazy!
Well since I last updated I had my 20th birthday! So now I'm officially no longer a teenager, which is exciting. We had a nice little BBQ at a friends house and I'll post some pictures. It was really sweet of her to throw me a party:) Oh and for my birthday Harris bought me a sewing machine:) I've only had time to do a few projects but I did make a nightgown that I'll post a picture of.
I had the opportunity to take a trip with some church friends to a town called Nove. It was really fun we went to a few different ceramic shops and had lunch out there. Nove is about 2 hours away from Aviano and it's really close to Vicenza. It was way fun to take that trip with some girls from church.
I also got asked to teach a class at church. I'm in charge of teaching the 12-14 year-old Sunday school class. So far the class is awesome! I have about 5-6 students and we've been having a fun time:)
Harris has had a stressful month full of car problems, working on days off and working 12 hour shifts. He came home one day and the tire on the fiat died (it had a 6 inch slit on the side, it was an old tire) so we got that fixed. Then he took the car to get it inspected so we could get it re-registered and they said that he had to fix a tie rod and on of the CV boots, it took him a few hours at the base auto shop but he got all that done. I think he had fun working on the car. I think it made him think about Sammie (Harris's Evo that we had to leave in Washington) who also got all fixed up this month and is now running again. :) I'll post a picture that his friend John took of the Evo. Its such a pretty car!
I got a job last week! I'm a cashier at the shoppette. it's a nice little job and it'll be nice to have some extra money so we can afford to tour Europe! yay!
Well I'm not sure what else has been going on this month. We did make it to the beach one Saturday, which was a blast! it was so great to just chill on an amazing beach. I love the beaches out here. I'll stop writing for now and I'll have Harris add something when he gets off work!

Hey hey,
Harris here. Kara pretty much summed up everything that's been up lately. I DID take 3 days off work a couple weeks ago. We had nothing planned, it was just nice to have a 5 day weekend :)
The Fiat is all good to go, except for some reason the right turn signal only likes to work in the mornings... weird I know. Other than that i hit the turn signal and I don't even get any indication noises or anything.
Sammie (the Evo) still has a couple problems that the previous owner decided to leave behind without fixing, but it'll all get fixed. As well as some options i've been looking at ;)
Kara seemed excited that she finally got a job! :D It'll be nice for her not to be stuck in the house all day. And it'll be nice for her to get out and see other people (I'm surprised she hasn't gotten sick of seeing me everyday.. I know I would if I were her ;) lol)
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing alright. We'll try to stay on top of this blog thing so everyone on the other side of the Atlantic can stay in the loop ;)
