April 9th

Hey everyone, it's Kara again! I figured it's been a bit since we last updated so here's an update. Not much has been going on, just getting the house all put together. We got our household goods on Tuesday! We are so grateful to be sleeping in our own bed. There is just something weird about sleeping in a strange bed for 2 months. There is much to do to get our place all set up so that's been keeping me busy while Harris is at work. It'll keep me busy while he's gone too.

Speaking about Harris leaving, he leaves here Saturday morning for Texas. He's getting really excited to spend 3 weeks in Inspector school. It'll be a lot of hard work and lots of studying, but he'll do great:) As for me I plan on just working on the house and finishing up my semester of college. I'm still doing classes, and after may 1st I'll have all my classes completed to get my Associates degree:)

My car came in on Tuesday, and after we work out some paperwork and such I should be able to pick it up next week:) I'm excited, Harris's car is a 5 speed, so it'll be good to have my Saturn back:)

In case you heard the news about the Earthquake here in Italy, don't worry about us. The earthquake was about 60 miles outside of Rome. We are about 6 hours away from Rome so we didn't feel a thing. We might have felt something if we just happened to be awake at 3:30 in the morning, but we weren't. So have no fear we are fine! But it is truly sad about the many people that are dead and missing, our prayers go out to the families of everyone affected by this earthquake. It's sad because Italian buildings just aren't built to withstand Earthquakes.

Anyway, we both hope that everyone has a fun and safe Easter with their families. Give everyone an extra hug from us:) Sadly I wont have Harris with me this Easter, but next year looks promising:)
